EARTH BOUND: A Community Conversation - “Stirring the Pot: Embracing Discomfort”

  • Madison-Morgan Cultural Center 434 South Main Street Madison, GA, 30650 United States (map)

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center continues to offer FREE ADMISSION SATURDAYS during the current EARTH BOUND exhibition. The public is also invited to attend a community conversation on Saturday, June 11th at 3:30 at MMCC. "Stirring the Pot/Embracing Discomfort" is a springboard into the expansive and newly-morphing spaces of creative power, the richness and responsibilities of cultural heritage, and the artist's journey in our dynamic and unsettled world. Featuring scholar TK Smith, EARTH BOUND artist Zipporah Camille Thompson, and Madison-resident and exhibit co-curator Teresa Bramlette Reeves, this free event is an opportunity for change agents and the community to engage in thoughtful sharing and learning on the many themes and issues presented in EARTH BOUND.

Light refreshments will be served following a Q & A.
