  • Dom Flemons is known as “The American Songster®" as his repertoire covers over one hundred years of American roots music. Co-founding member of the groundbreaking GRAMMY Award-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dom is a folk musician, black country artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music scholar, historian, actor, slam poet, record collector, curator, podcaster, cultural commentator, influencer, and the creator, host, and producer of the American Songster Radio Show. Over the past 25 years, he has received major awards, gained world-wide media recognition and has become one of the most influential and highly decorated voices in American roots music.

BOOM! Trio ft. Lavahi

  • A few ofAtlanta’s greatest jazz musicians, includingthe primarydrummerfor the legendary Count Basie Orchestra, form together as the Boom! Trio. Boom! Trio explores a funk and soul-driven sound on the outer edge of jazz, often described as “Alternative Jazz.”

    This force of modern jazz and composition is comprised of saxophone, drums, and 8-string electric guitar, and they are accompanied by vocal virtuoso Lavahi.

  • Renowned cellist Nick Ogawa and violinist Kathryn Koch compose and perform their own blend of modern orchestral folk music with live looping and harmonized vocals. Their performances are praised for their visceral blend of expressive cello and vocals. This performance will also include the premiere of Ogawa’s original string quartet inspired by a traditional Japanese folk tale.

A Night at the Opera

  • Join us for A Nightat the Opera with Timothy Miller and Bethany GraceMamola, joined by pianist Julie Coucheron. Soprano Bethany Grace Mamola, hailed as "rare talent," joins acclaimed tenor Timothy Miller for an evening of favorite arias and duets. Enjoying an extensive performance career, Bethany Grace Mamola is a celebrated soprano known for her warm vocal timbre, nuanced characterization, and commanding stage presence. Timothy Miller, a native of Augusta, GA, has built a distinguished performance career spanning opera, concert work, international tours, and high-profile appearances such as his well-known performances of “God Bless America” for the Atlanta Braves.
