This is a class designed for beginning or intermediate students wishing to explore soft pastels. The students will paint from photos (theirs or the instructors) and some floral still-lives. Demonstrations by the instructor will be given during the 6-week course. The students will learn a variety of pastel techniques working in an impressionistic style, focusing on composition, value and color harmony.
