Shape Something Beautiful for Autumn
Welcome the arrival of autumn with a creative afternoon of pottery at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center. In this hands-on workshop, award-winning pottery artist and instructor Rebecca Braswell will guide participants through the process of creating a hand-built sunflower.
Whether you are new to pottery or have some experience working with clay, this workshop offers a welcoming opportunity to explore your creativity, learn new techniques, and make something beautiful by hand. Bring a friend and enjoy an afternoon of art, conversation, and autumn-inspired creativity.
All supplies are included, and the workshop is open to all skill levels.

About Rebecca Braswell
Rebecca Braswell is an award-winning utilitarian pottery artist and instructor who has been creating and teaching pottery since 2010. Her work has been featured in Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation’s prestigious Perspectives pottery show and the Macon Art Alliance’s Fired Works exhibition. She has also exhibited at Swan Coach Gallery.
Rebecca has taught pottery classes and workshops for both children and adults, and her work is sold locally as well as on St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island. Her pottery is especially admired for its functionality, quality, and thoughtfully developed natural glaze combinations.
