A few of Atlanta’s greatest jazz musicians, including the primary drummer for the legendary Count Basie Orchestra, form together as the Boom! Trio. Boom! Trio explores a funk and soul-driven sound on the outer edge of jazz, often described as “Alternative Jazz.”

This force of modern jazz and composition is comprised of saxophone, drums, and 8-string electric guitar, and they are accompanied by vocal virtuoso Lavahi.
