Learn the craft and business of writing with local author Crystal Jackson. Sessions will explore writing rules, blogging, personal essay, content writing, poetry, magazine and newspaper journalism, short stories, non-fiction, fiction, and more. Guest speakers will be brought in for news and screenwriting. Students must be between the ages of 14 and 18.

Class Sessions are on Tuesdays from 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Session 1: September 2 - 23

Session 2: September 30 - October 28

Session 3: November 4 - December 2

*Students will have the ability to sign up for monthly sessions or can pay a drop-in rate of $25 for individual sessions. Virtual classes will be available via GoogleMeet.

Crystal Jackson is the published author of the Heart of Madison contemporary romance series and the author of three volumes of poetry. She’s a writer for Lake Oconee Living magazine, and she’s been featured on Medium, Thought Catalog, Elite Daily, YourTango, Elephant Journal, and many more. She has been a professional working author since 2017 and has experience in all taught writing types.
