Kamden is a classical realist oil painter specializing in florals. She composes her painting with a limited palette, as a limited palette allows the artist to achieve more color harmony throughout a work of art. Kamden has a deep admiration for art history, and the technical aspects of painting. Color theory and the chemistry of pigments greatly intrigue her as well.

When she is not in the studio painting, Kamden enjoys reading, playing classical harp and piano music, and crocheting. She is the Membership and Volunteer Coordinator here at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, she also is the marketing assistant, oversees our Museum Shop, and assists our Visual Arts chair with coordinating exhibits. In addition to her various roles at the Cultural Center, Kamden serves on the Board of Directors at the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts, is a gallery artist at the Southern Heartland Art Gallery, and is an officer for the Matthew Talbot Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Kamden looks forward to sharing her love of painting with you!
