We are thrilled to announce the selection of a new Executive Director to lead the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center. After a nearly year-long process, the MMCC board and executive search committee has chosen Melissa Klein to serve as the organization’s new Executive Director!

Melissa Klein has been a life-long advocate for the arts, beginning her career as a professional musician and studio teacher. Her education includes studies in Clarinet Performance at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Integrated Studies degree in Business, Public Administration, and Music from Weber State University. Additionally, she completed a Master of Arts degree in Business Design and Arts Leadership from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Melissa has worked in arts management and non-profit development across a wide range of organizations including the Macon Symphony Orchestra (Georgia), KUED – PBS Utah, and Utah Symphony | Utah Opera. Most recently she led Onstage Ogden (Utah) as Executive Director. When she has a free moment, you will find her spending time with her husband Jon and 5 children, hiking with her dogs, or playing tennis. She is thrilled to return to her Georgia roots and live in beautiful, historic Madison while serving the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center.

Join us in welcoming Melissa to MMCC!
