Country Dance Fundamentals


Learn the Steps. Find Your Rhythm. Enjoy the Dance.

Step onto the dance floor with confidence in this beginner-friendly country dance class at The Hall on Foster in Madison, Georgia. Participants will learn the fundamentals of several popular country dance styles, including swing, two-step, line dancing, and square dancing.

No partner or previous dance experience is required. Each class introduces essential steps, timing, and patterns in a welcoming, low-pressure environment designed to help you build confidence while having fun.

After class, stay for optional practice time to review what you have learned and enjoy more time on the dance floor.

Class Details

  • When: Every Thursday

  • Class Time: 6:30–8:00 PM

  • After-Class Practice: 8:00–9:00 PM

  • Location: The Hall on Foster
    513 Foster Street, Madison, GA 30650

  • Cost: $10 per class, paid directly to the instructor upon arrival

  • Experience Level: Beginners welcome

  • Registration: Ongoing drop-in class

About the Instructor

Russell Fair is a professional software engineer with a passion for dance, particularly partner styles such as West Coast Swing and salsa. He has studied with champion-level ballroom, swing, and Latin dance instructors in Idaho, Florida, and Georgia.
