February 1978 - Governor's Award in the Arts
For restoration and preservation; an original spheroid crafted of Georgia pine by Edward Moultrop of Atlanta.

April 1978 - Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation
Award for achievement in preservation.

Sept. 1982 - The American Institute of Architects Citation of Excellence

1995 - The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games Cultural Olympiad Regional Designation Award in the Humanities.

February 2000 - Georgia Historical Society's Roger Warlick Local History Achievement Award -- First Place, Exhibit Category for outstanding accomplishments to "collect, preserve, and share Georgia's history" through A Visit to Boxwood Parlor.

May 2006 - Award for Outstanding Restoration for the bell tower restoration project at the Madison Historic Preservation awards ceremony.
