Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Reopens on August 6, 2020

Welcome back to MMCC!

We have missed everyone over the past several months and are happy to announce the reopening of the Center beginning August 6, 2020 at 10AM. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we operate differently to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff. We have been thoughtfully preparing for our reopening, a process that considers state and city guidelines and coordination with Morgan County Public School System. Please read our guidelines for visiting the Center.

Guidlines for Visitors:

  • Admission Fee: Adults: $5, Seniors: $4, Students: $3, Children 6 and under: Free, MMCC Members: Free. There will be a QR code at the Center as a convenient digital method of payment.

  • Our hours have changed. MMCC will be open to the public every Tuesday-Saturday from 10AM-5PM.

  • Wash your hands or use sanitizer. Upon arrival, please use provided hand sanitizer.

  • Maintain social distance. Please keep at least 6 feet away from other groups, visitors and staff members. We are restricting occupancy to group sizes of 10 or less.

  • Wear a mask over your mouth and nose. If you forget yours, we have masks available to purchase for $1.00.

  • If you’re feeling sick, please do not enter. This precaution holds true for staff members, as well as anyone exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

  • We are limiting print materials. The gallery guide can be accessed digitally from your smartphone by scanning the provided QR code at the Center. We will have printed copies if you are unable to access the digital guide.

  • The Museum Shop is open. Please be sure to sanitize your hands upon entering.

MMCC will operate by these standards fo excellence:

  • Vigorous disinfection and sanitation procedures

  • Physical distancing measures in place

  • All staff wearing masks

  • Barriers in place for protection

  • Employees educated on procedures and monitoring their health

  • Hand sanitizing and sinks available for public use

  • Restricted occupancy to group sizes of 10 guests and under
